What We Are Looking For

Financials

We’re targeting businesses with $1M to $6M in EBITDA, with a ceiling on $20 million purchase price.

Why such a large EBITDA range?

Our funding model, investors and ethos is focused on business model and whether it sparks excitement in us. We're open to a small company that has potential for serious growth where we will build team culture. Or we're open to an amazing business with established systems and processes that need solid, new leaders at the helm.

Funding

Our funding structure includes a 50% senior debt facility (conditionally pre-approved), with the balance funded through a mix of self-funding and committed equity from our investor network.

Timeframe

We are ready to take over a business now. As a result, we are actively reviewing opportunities now and ready to move forward on a transaction within the next 3–9 months, depending on deal fit and process.

Our primary focus is on:

That said, we’re ultimately sector-agnostic. What matters most to us is:

  • A capable and stable team

  • Flexibility for continued growth and cultural investment

We’re looking for successful, well-run businesses where we can add value and preserve legacy.

Location

We’re based in Sydney, but open to businesses in other states depending on operational needs and required in-person involvement.

I will remain based in NSW, and Wade may relocate to QLD depending on the business we find and his greater family plans.

Years of Operation

Minimum 5 years of operation with consistent financial performance.
Ideally a long-established, founder-led or “Boomer business” operating for 15+ yearsm but we are open to younger companies if the business model, team, and opportunity are strong.

Management / Transition

We’re not looking for absentee ownership or to keep owners indefinitely involved. Our preference is:

  • Seller is ready to exit or reduce involvement

  • A structured 3–6 month transition

  • Option for limited advisory involvement beyond that, if appropriate

  • We’re hands-on, full-time operators stepping in to run and grow the business
